- Research Products
- BuilderLink allows the user to browse product categories, search by keyword or use the lumber search tool to quickly research products.
- It's In Stock
- Quantity on hand is displayed so the user knows what they need is in stock and available.
- Your Pricing
- User pricing is always up-to-date. BuilderLink shows the user's price and the retail price.
- Product Library
- Many products have detailed information such as diagrams and pictures, which make identifying the correct product easy.
- Build Estimates
- Insert products into estimates by choosing the destination estimate and entering the quantity desired. The Assembly feature lets the user add pre-built combinations of products to their estimate with one click.
- Review Estimates
- Estimates can be saved, reviewed and quantities adjusted as needed. One click updates product prices to current levels.
- Check Estimate Total
- Once the estimate is completed, the total price appears at the bottom of the screen.
- Export
- BuilderLink allows the user to export their estimate to Microsoft Excel or directly to the user's printer.
Instant Information and Service
With BuilderLink, a lumberyard becomes a reliable and trusted online source of information for professional builders. Once integrated with a lumberyard's internal systems, BuilderLink lets account-holding customers browse current lumber and materials from a constantly updated interface. From this web-based software, they can choose products and calculate estimates - based on their discount level - in real-time from their internal database. The result is that customers have on-demand access to the information they need to build estimates.
Estimates - Save, Export and Print!
BuilderLink estimates can be saved and exported directly into spreadsheets and estimating software - a true convenience. When it's time to purchase, customers simply "refresh" prices to current levels, print and hand their order to the retailer's staff. It's a great incentive for one-stop shopping.
The Shared Product Library
A powerful feature of BuilderLink is that it connects with the lumberyard's systems and provides supplemental information not contained in their internal database.
BuilderLink uses UPC codes to link the retailer's inventory of products to product specifications, photos, MSDS documents and manufacturer's websites. The BuilderLink database is continuously updated so manufacturers and retailers can showcase new products as soon as they are available and in stock.

For an annual subscription, pro-builders can access accurate and instant estimates from a lumberyard's inventory 24/7. Professional builders recognize the bottom-line value that accurate and on-demand estimating brings to their business. BuilderLink recognizes multiple discount levels, and automatically quotes at the discount level available to each account holder.
